Long-Term Study & Work Programme

The Study Programmes are specifically tailored for non-EU students who require a visa, offering a valuable opportunity to enhance their academic studies. This comprehensive programme includes 25 weeks of structured study, enabling students to immerse themselves in their coursework and enhance their skills in a supportive environment. Following the study period, students are granted 10 weeks of holiday, which allows them to explore the local culture and surroundings.

Throughout the entire 35-week duration, students are permitted to work part-time, providing them with valuable work experience and helping to cover their living expenses. Additionally, during the 10-week holiday period, students have the option to work full-time, maximizing their earning potential and enriching their overall experience in the country. This combination of study and work creates a balanced approach that promotes both academic achievement and real-world application, making it an excellent choice for those seeking to broaden their horizons while pursuing their education.

Students booking this programme must book an end of programme exam and medical insurance for the whole duration of their stay. At Apollo, we offer students the choice of booking the IELTS or Cambridge FCE/CAE exams and the exact exam is decided during the first week of your course at the school.

Apollo Language Centre has approval to offer students learner protection insurance, Learner Protection insurance is only in place when each student receives their certificate.

Morning Real World English

20 hours per week: 09.00-13.15 Monday-Friday Maximum class size: 14 students Start Dates: Every Monday
MORNING REAL WORLD ENGLISH, available for all levels from Beginner to Advanced, will prepare you to use English in ‘real world’ situations and will take into account your interests, strengths, and weaknesses, as well as your short and long-term goals. Through interactive lessons and practical exercises, you will gain the confidence to communicate effectively in various contexts, ensuring you are well-equipped for everyday interactions and professional opportunities alike

Afternoon Real World English

15 hours per week: 13.45-17.00 Monday-Friday Maximum class size: 14 students Start Dates: Every Monday
AFTERNOON REAL WORLD ENGLISH available for all levels from Beginner to Advanced, will prepare you to use English in ‘real world’ situations and will take into account your interests, strengths, and weaknesses, as well as your short and long-term goals. ‘The Apollo Experience’ continues outside the school when you will visit the best attractions that Ireland has to offer & get involved in the Apollo Social programme with our fantastic Apollo Experience staff.

Apollo Real World Learning:
Apollo students will follow a structured programme to enable them to practice their English in real world situations such as job interviews, meetings, presentations, communicating by email & conducting skype calls though English.
